Motor City Raceway is taking a break

We would like to thank everyone for their huge support over the past year – Due to increasing rental costs and limited resources, we will be taking a break for now and therefore no longer continuing with the scheduled race season for 2012. On a positive note, we are quite pleased to see other tracks opening up across the GTA; most recently a huge indoor offroad track (Universal Raceway) on the border of Etobicoke and Mississauga: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCntb_nVhh0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Location: 301 Simcoe St N, Oshawa (Exit 401 Simcoe St. or Stevenson Rd) - Go North, Turn right on Adelaide Ave, Left on Mary St to access back parking lot of school)
Track size: 100 ft x 40 ft
Track surface: Carpet
- AMB timing system
- Plenty of pit space
- Electricity
- Experienced track committee
- Full washroom facilities

SCHEDULE
RACE DAYS: Every Second Saturday (10:00am - 4:00pm)

November: 12th, 26th
December: 10th

9:00am - Doors Open
10:00am - 11:00am Practice
11:15am QUALIFYING BEGINS (three rocket rounds)
1:15pm (approx) - Lunch Break (30 minutes)
